  • Have You Tried Clean & Clear Products?

    Okay Lovelies,

I recently bought this cleanser and used it today. I went to a store to buy the acne scrub and wash I regularly use. Neutrogena's "Stress Control Oil-Free Power-Clean Scrub." However, it was a bit expensive and I'm tight on cash right now. So I bought the Clean & Clear's "Continuous Control Acne Cleanser" yesterday, and tried it today.

Nothing seems bad now. I thought I'd do a bit of research and look for reviews. A lot of people said it worked but made them red and blotchy. That frightened me a bit. So, here's my question.

Have you used it? And if you have, how did it work for you?

I've found Clean and Clear to help my acne stay slightly under control, but not clear it up at all. It didn't get worse at least. I have Neutrogena Stress control for my acne and it has helped more than the Clean and Clear. It's actually helped quite a bit. But I haven't found anything to clear it up really really well.

i use clean and clear invisible blemish treatment and it's really effective for me, it works great. i love it =P mind you i dont break out very often, i just get the odd pimple here and there, mostly on my forehead is where i will get numerous tiny ones that can't really pass for acne or even full sized pimples so i just leave them alone until they become noticible Then i use my clean and clear stuff on them and works like a charm =]

same as ms.kittycatty. it helps to keep it a little under control but my face isn't fully clear when i use this product.

I swear by the acne spot treatment. I havent had acne issues much but I still sometimes get ocassional deep pimples that hurt when they come in & this helps ward them off. It takes the red out fast & the medicine stops the throb too. I put it on THEN I put on my moisturizer after I wash my face to be sure it gets in my pores first.

I have used Clean and Clear for years, now I just use it for my backne. Honestly, I've never had a problem. Keep in mind that everyone has different skin, and everyone reacts differently to each product.

I have sensitive skin, and I had no worries with C&C. I loveeee their products! :]

i used clean and clear and it worked to perfection for years.
but once i hit 16 (recently) it stopped working as well, and i've switched to neutrogena. which works awesome.

i used it when i was a teenager but not now.  it didn't do much to my face.  i'll fork a little bit of cash to get a cleanser i like because i don't like switching products.

I've never had good luck with Clean and Clear.  I tend to have dry skin that gets irritated easily, so most of they're products make my face extremely dry.  I'm all about Mary Kay now

I dont like clean and clear products - especially the acne one

@anythingbeauty@xanga - same here Mary Kay products help keep my acne under control

I don't use clenser's because I'm horrible and never want to take the time to do the whole process.  So instead I use C&C's spot treatment when I need it, but as I've gotten older my acne has cleared up and I only tend to have flare up's when have a big paper due.

It smelled good but didn't do a damn thing for my skin.

I haven't tried this particular product from Clean and Clear, but I do use their cream cleanser or the pore scrubbing stuff.  They both work fine for me without drying my skin, but I wanted to switch things up so I got aveeno.....and after about a month of using it I started to break out in red itchy blotches.  So I kept bouncing around from brand to brand until my mom told me to use vaseline and switch back to whatever I was using before and my skin looks better than ever.  So, I think it should work fine.  If you do start breaking out, it's probably over-drying your face and you should switch to a more gentle cleanser or start using some heavy duty moisturizers.
