Javacado Facial and Green Tea Moisturizer Recipes
The Ingredients... (CERTIFIED organic ingredients!)
Make sure your avocado is ripe- that is, when you squeeze it with your fingers, it's nice and soft.
Take a sharp knife and carefully cut down the avocado vertically. You will feel the pit. Just continue to cut around the pit, until you have made a complete long-ways slice.
Twist the avocado sides in opposite directions. When it opens, remove the seed (and plant it!).
From here you have two options. You may peel HALF the avocado and mash it with the back of a spoon, or simply scoop it out of the skin into a bowl and mash it. You may need to chop and mash if it is still firm.
Make sure you have a smooth and creamy consistency.
Measure 1 tbsp of ground coffee. It may be used, however, I recommend grinding up some fresh beans. The qualities of the coffee are freshest at this point, and smell absolutely decadent.
Stir in with the avocado mash, making sure it spreads evenly throughout the mixture.
Add 1 tsp of vitamin E oil and mix well.
Green Tea Moisturizer:
Brew one cup of green tea. (Unless you wanna drink it... then brew two)
I recommend loose tea.If you do use loose tea, like the coffee, you will receive more of its benefits as it is more untouched.
If you buy one organic product, I recommend doing it here (the chemicals we put in our products are most prevalent in our skin care). Take your favorite unscented moisturizer that suits your need (there are many different types or oily, normal, and dry skin), and squirt out as much as you would use on your face onto a paper plate. Make a little well (hole) in the middle, a pour just a tiny bit of green tea (its ok if you pour too much).
Mix together until your lotion is a thinner but manageable consistency.
Cleansing, Exfoliating, and Moisturizing:
Make sure you wash and cleanse your face completely. Although our mixture will cleanse your face, you should remove all make up and dirt/oils of the day.
Choose the cleanser that is best for you. Make sure you aren't using ones that have artificial chemicals that can dry out and damage your skin. If you don't have one, you can use yogurt or cooked oatmeal. (Totally serious.)
When you exfoliate with the Javacado facial, make sure you do it correctly to circulate the blood in your sensitive facial skin.
Place a generous dab of the mixture on both cheeks, your forehead, your nose, and your chin.
With a firm (not murderous) touch, rub it in on your cheeks in a circular, round motion.
Continue this motion up under your eyes, into your temples, and onto your forehead. Be delicate on your brows and avoid your eyes.
Move down to your nose and pay special attention to your chin.
Leave mask on for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse and pat face dry.
Allow your face to completely air dry before applying tea moisturizer.
(If you find that it didn't mix well with the lotion, you can apply it and let it sit for about ten minutes and remove it. You will still receive the same moisturizing effect.)
Needless to say, this is an indulgence you should partake in alone... your significant other might not be happy if you run up to him with your best come-hither face and ask for a kiss.
Don't forgot to compost the leftover mask and tea leaves!Would you try my Javacado Facial regime?

what does it help other than being a moisturizer?
I tried making my own avocado mask once, as it turns out, I'm allergic. So no, definitely won't be trying Javacado.
Isn't there a way to store the left over instead of wasting it?
