Tis the Season to Darken Those Lips?

Dark plum lips are my new jam. I haven't quite experimented with black but am curious...
Have you tried this look? Do you think Fall is a good season to try darker colors on your lips?

I wear dark lip color alot but that's because I just love it so much. LOL. It's usually very popular in fall/winter though.
A good color to try is Cyber by MAC. It's a black-purple color that looks good on everyone. Even my mom the picky queen likes it. She's borrowed it a few times.
Plum lipstick is very pretty. I don't know if its a fall thing or not, but it looks so nice on almost everyone.
I just don't like dark lipsticks on me, I own some but I usually stick to my nude lip year round.

Perfect timing. I live in a sub-tropical climate, so dark lips during the warmer months just doesn't work, in my opinion.
I've tried black lip gloss....it looks ridiculous on me

Yep (: I've tried black before, and it did work, but any warm colour is great when you have skin as pale as mine. It can look awesome in the right shades (:
plum sounds really nice. i don't think i'd go for black though. it tends to look more goth than glam, but if you like that, rock it!
My lips are too thin. Dark lips are too heavy on me. Plus, I've extremely pale, and live in texas (home of the blonde hair and lip gloss), so I'd get a million questions along the lines of "are you goth?"

I love the dark lip look! I've tried all different shades of deep colors - including black! Yes, it does look fabulous on me indeed. Don't be afraid to experiment!

Not everyone can pull off the dark lipstick. The model in the picture looks decent.
I like the colour she's wearing in the pic. But dark colours are hard to pull off in regular day events, maybe for a photoshoot like she's doing? haha
I think it's good for fall beauty. That model pulls it off great. Women with pale flawless skin pull it off better though, tans or olives should stay away from it.

I use to wear dark lip colour when I was in high school...because it went with that whole, gothic, punk look I had going then haha. Plus, I just liked it anyway, it was different from anyone else I went to school with. However, just recently my work got in NYX lipsticks and I tried on some of the darker shades, and I must say I'm really liking it. Not sure how often I would wear it, but I think it would look nice during the winter months.
