DIY: A Cuter Ponytail
Ponytail, before
I wear a ponytail about 75% of the time. Mostly because I like to spend about 10 minutes to get ready for work. =) I love ponytails and sometimes do this one “trick” which is not even really a trick… but I always get comments asking about how I do it. I am usually doing this AS I’m running down the stairs!
So… here is a quick video showing how I do it! Here’s a really easy way to add a little kick to your ponytail and it only takes 1 minute!
After
You can also do other variations on this:
What do you think of this style? What ways do you wear your ponytail?

uh its okay. that usually makes my neck itchy.
Pretty cool, I can never really get mine to stay because of the layers I have. oh well.
Okay not going to lie.
I had to look at the before and after picture for five minutes before I saw any difference at all.
@tara08lyn@xanga - yeah me too..
Cute! I love it. Thanks, girl.
This has been done. I was expecting a better ponytail. It's cute nonetheless though.
I've been doing this with my hair for awhile now. It's a nice quick easy way to cover up the ponytail if you don't like it to show.
@annah_bananah@xanga - @tara08lyn@xanga - me three. :/
xo
my hair is too short to make a pony tail :S
@tara08lyn@xanga - Me too.
Side ponytail because its more unique than a typical ponytail :)
Usually I poof the front or pin my bangs back on the side (we call it the swoop), then a regular ponytail or side pony.
cute, but I was hoping for something a little different (tbh, the pictures of the ponytails look pretty much the same at first glance)
I liked the before better.
@tara08lyn@xanga - Snapp lol :]
My hair is so long, I have to make a loopy ponytail bun thing or else it whips around my neck when I turn my head.
i don't see how it's any "cuter," tbh.
I don't find pony tails to be professional... I wear them if I'm around the house or yard, otherwise I like to look like I put effort into myself.
@may16abby@xanga - yeah..
yeep.
I have pretty long hair so I usually use the longest layer of my hair then tie my hair in a low ponytail using just that piece of strand of hair. Pretty nifty when, a lot of the times, I forget a ponytail holder.
I like a pony tale. Simple but elegant. Do you have any suggestions regarding the front however? That's where I often need added interest.
its not that fantastic. the side pony is way cuter. but i just cut my hair..short. so no ponys for me.
that's nothing special
It's pretty much impossible for me to get ready in 10 minutes. I have to straighten my hair every morning, regardless of wearing it down or in a ponytail. If I don't, it's a giant, goes-everywhere poof. Seriously.
