How Can I Achieve Beautiful Pale Skin?
I am one of the few (I think) Caucasian girls out there who likes their skin to look as bright, radiant and pale as it can be. I have Scottish background so I am already pretty light but I obviously no ones skin is perfect.I know that a lot of Asian women like the same look and they have a lot of products out there to help with the luminosity and pale perfection that I am striving for. My problems are that I don't have like $50 to just try something and I also don't want to harm my skin either.
So, what are some good products for us girls out there looking for pale, radiant, beautiful skin?

I like having pale skin too :) I think the luminosity of pale, even-toned skin is beautiful.
@frozencherries@xanga - same. thankfully since its winter im going back to my paleness (it brings out my features way more). as long as you stay out of the sun & use sunscreen you should be fine :)
Well, I believe if you'd like pale skin as an overall thing, then you can consider using lemon juice.
Just take a slice of lemon and rub it around the designated area. For more help, you can sprinkle some sugar (or was it salt?) onto the lemon slice. It'll instantly help exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells, which in turns makes your skin look lighter.
But really, there are many good ways :D
i love being pale :) im not sure what to do really, though, so my best advice to you is to avoid the sunlight whenever possible
Pale skin is beautiful, but I hate it when I get pale o.o I love tan skin ! I just think it looks better with my blonde hair and blue eyes ^_^
as for methods or products, I'm not so sure. I mean, getting a cheap pale concealer and foundation would help a little, but it would be a hassle to have to do it every day. I really don't know, sorry !Â
i also have pale skin, and i like it. when i can get it to look clear and beautiful, i feel my best.
the best tips i can give to have it look luminous are: drink a lot of water, avoid sun, healthy diet, exercise (obvious i guess but my skin is the best when i am following these rules). another thing i've been using lately is Witch Hazel. i gave up my expensive toners/astringents for this instead. it's super cheap. it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin, just keeps it clear and fresh. drinking green tea also clears my skin and helps it look healthy, but i only drink it once in a while.
LOVE my women pale-skinned :)
The women I've dated who used product all seemed to agree that the Obagi whitening cream was the way to go. It seemed to work for them, from what I saw at least.
Don't go out much, that's my secret! Lol...j/k
I go through my stages, tanning and not. Meh.
i use tapioca masks ( they have whitening effects ) or just use those bb creams that have whitening effects .

lemon makes skin extra sensitive to sunlight though, so use SPF15 creams after. =)
Palmer's has a product line called Skin Success that can be found in drugstores, Wal*Mart, and Target. Because it is targeted at African Americans usually (the fade creams are), it will be in the aisle where the African American products are sold or sometimes in stores where the products are not separated, it would be buy the Palmer's products on the bottom self. I would advise using one for fading age spots and not one of the ones with titles pure white brightening mask. Unless you really want them. I have never tried these, but I know people who have. They've all had very dark skin though.
Avon has a fade cream that is gentle and super cheap. It is called Banishing
Cream Skin Discoloration Improver in case the link doesn't work. It is probably gentler that the skin success.. I know white people that have used it. It is great for acne scars, that is what I use it for.
Aveeno has a product that I actually use. It isn't a fade cream, but it just keeps your skin evenly toned. It will slowly fade dark spots. It is in the Positively Radiant line. Any of them work about the same.
There are also several brands targeted toward African American women that you can find in any drug store like Ambi,
Oh yea, no matter which one you use, use a sunscreen after b/c it makes you skin sensitive and it defeats the point (you tan more easily)
This is a very racist article. "Pale perfection?" Yeah, racist.
I almost never tanned when I lived in a place with fewer sunlight like New Jersey and didn't play many outdoor sports. I live in San Diego now and I'm very tan. So... All I know from experience is that pale = not going outside a lot.
I heard that Likas papaya whitening soap is good. It's all natural, and works well for acne also. But like everybody said, use a sunscreen after.
I wish I could have pale, bright skin. I use Aveeno products and it does help a bit. Also, try using freshly squeezed lemons and dab it on your face but be careful because it can burn a bit, especially around the eye area. You can mix the lemon juice with a few spoons of honey to create a mask, it feels really good afterwards!
You can also apply cucumber juice on your face as well as running raw potato slices along the face to reduce scars. Mostly, though, the potato slices are to reduce dark circles under the eyes. Obviously, these are not quick fixes, they need to be done over a period of time and you have to be consistant.
There was also a post in Lovelyish I think a month or two ago on products that lighten the skin, however I can't seem to find it right now. If I do, I'll post back. Good Luck!
SPF everyy day.
Stay out of daylight and drink blood.. that's what I do.
Plus if you really want to have a pale effect colour your hair a really dark colour.
:)
Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost - $26 for a little bottle
kinda pricey - but it works
Clinique / Sheisedo* = way too expensive for me
I absolutely love my pale skin. Thank you, oh gracious ancestors! :D
I just put on sunscreen. I'm so pale, if I got any paler I'd be a vampire-wanna-be. Not really the look I like. :)
Do a research on goths' skin whitening recipes.
@onward3@xanga - wow, overreaction.
i've heard lemon, but lemon is pretty harsh so i don't know if i'd recommend it.
I use lemon juice twice a week.
HD primer in number 5, blue under your sunblock/powder/ liquid foundation
then u get skin like mine :D
Lemon. I wear it daily under my make up, it makes your skin clear and a pretty shade of pale :3 Youre not the only naturally pale girl who doesnt want to tan!
Also, my grandmother use to bathe in buttermilk once a week or so, this can also be made with (key ingredient) Lemon and regular milk, it sounds disgusting but its really not, I did it once it was like sitting in melted ice cream. And spf everytime you step in the sun!
Just be yourself, if you're already have light skin, then why do you want to mess with your skin? You look fine, seriously.
uh... eat your greens and stay out of the sun. if you do go out wear sunscreen.
