BB Cream: Foundation Trend
Honestly, I’m not big on makeup, my procedure is very simple.
Step One: Wash face
Step Two: Skin toner and lotion (day and night lotions are separate)
Step Three: Eye and then face sunblock lotion
Step Four: Contacts
Step Five: Mascara (on non-school days)I can’t live without my blush. I love how a dab of pink cheeks can really boost your look, making you feel feminine. Finding the right foundation has been a journey, so I stopped, but my roommate has a BB Cream. Over the weekend, I was over a friend's house and tested her BB Cream. I fell in love. The cream is light and you apply it by spreading it all over your face evenly and your face will look flawless and even have a little glow. It's real trendy in Korea and it’s real popular with celebrities, and according to my friend, “It’s what Miss Korea uses, don’t you know? It works, Miss Korea uses it!”
After trying, I was sold. This one below is my first BB Cream, it hasn’t disappointed me yet, so far so good.
Have you ever tried BB Cream? If so, what did you think of it? If not, do you see yourself trying it in th future?

same like you, im not too big on make up only in the winter to protect my face from the harsh winter weather. i would def try it.
What is it exactly? A shimmery foundation-lotion?
i have BB cream! my aunt gave it to me when i was in korea. it's a nice base for foundation as well
I have missha's perfect cover bb cream. Works great but I'm stashing it away for winter because the oil control's terrible
i love bb cream! i found out about this year and I've been using BRTC Jasmin water....
it's also supposed to help clear acne and scars, but I'm not sure if that's true for everyone .... but ofcourse it takes time for that to happen
i heart bb cream! =).
i would try it out, but i'm scared that it might break me out.
bb cream is great for evening out skin tone - i just used a simple face cream. however, i still don't recommend switching to another brand for life, because once you use it often enough, your skin will come to think that it this cream is a natural part of your routine, thus your face cream / foundation, whichever it may be, won't be as effective. its great that you don't use foundation / face makeup everyday, because you have great skin already! keep up the simple routine!
oo i love BBcream but the one i purchased which is the darkish shade is too light for me!
ooo guys i'm also doing a giveaway for a swarvoski necklace.. come by to my page!
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - i was also curious and i found this site that explains what it is
http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2008/08/blemish-balm-cream-what-is-bb-cream.html
@imjustatouchoverrated@xanga - Thanks! That was very informative. I have somewhat porcelain-toned skin [in the winter, at least; in the summer, it's tanner] so I think this would do well for me. I don't have dry skin though, but I don't have oily skin either. Would this work for you?
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - no i don't think so i have more combination skin, but i was wondering were you could buy it and supposedly on this website missha.com they sell it and i think they have other versions of it it seems worth at try you know?
@imjustatouchoverrated@xanga - My friend uses it but I never paid attention to it since she uses a bajillion products. She buys it directly from Korea.
rawr i heard bout it from s2janie on myspace and her face is amazing. i been waiting for income so i could try it. cant wait! where could i get some for a reasonable price?
I will try it as soon as I can get my hands on it, but it's hard to come by in sweden
I fully intend to try it...when I get older.
Hmm, I should go look for it ;o .
I have it. It's wonderful, but their shades are too light for my skin. >.<
I use BB Cream on the days when I don't want to go all out on the make up (primer/foundation/etc). BB Cream is a one step wonder and I love it (esp. because I feel lazy and don't want to go through the whole make up routine just to go to the supermarket).
I have used a few brands, and it's a love-hate relationship. I love that it's a simple foundation and it WHITENS my skintone (evenly too). :D I like being more fair-skinned. What i DON'T like about BB Cream is that I've read how it works WONDERS on some people and covers up ALL blemishes--that's why I started using it. But I have yet to find a brand that will work those kinds of miracles for me. My blemishes are slightly covered but never completely gone, so I still have to resort to some concealer. -shrug- but maybe it's just that no product is that kind of a miracle worker.
I'll keep an eye out. (:
I love BB cream especially for the fact that it contains spf, so I can skip the sunscreen. Right now I'm using Missha Perfect Cover in #21 and it's wonderful <3 For people who want to try BB cream I suggest you eBay it ^^
For those of you who are still wondering what BB Cream is, it used to be given to people who has had plastic surgery because it's very delicate and thin and won't hurt the sensitive skin after plastic surgery. It was used to hide scars really effectively. Slowly, this BB Cream (Blemish Balm) has turned into a makeup collection must-have and many Korean companies started making formulas of their BB Cream. Some well-known and loved brands which make great BB Cream would be Dr. Jarts, Missha, or Skin Food. (:
Hmm..i want to try it! I have pretty oily skin though. Right now I am using a foundation from clinique that is pretty sheer and light and has SPF 15--it's more like a tinted moisturizer, but it evens out my skin tone.
Where can I find BB Cream? There are different brands, right? Which one would you say is the best?
some people said using BB cream instead of a foundation actually make a really thick base on ur face.. like.. BB cream can be thicker than our normal foundations.. and it looks thick like a mask
but some use it like a make-up base before u put on ur foundation..
