I love this tip from
ALLURE on how to subtract puffiness from your eyes. They say the old tea-bag-on-the-eyes trick works for a reason: The caffeine constricts blood vessels, the tannins reduce inflammation, and the pressure tamps down the puff. If that sounds like a pain (or a mess), a chilled compress is just as effective. Cucumber slices, an eye gel you keep in the fridge, or a bag of frozen peas all work the same way. It's really the cold that shrinks the capillaries and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
Do you agree that these tricks work? What are some other tricks you know about reducing puffy eyes?

I keep hearing about this thing called sleep it's supposed to be really effective
Sleep early. wake up early.
Now if only i'd heed my own advice..
I've used a cold spoon before. It sounds silly, and looks silly, but it works!
the spoon thing is good. i wonder if it matters what kind of tea is in the tea bag.
@testubebaby@xanga - haha :P
How long does the effect of a cold spoon or a bag of frozen peas last?
I want puffy eyes just to try it... i'm weird I know
I always worried about the tea staining the skin, so then sure you've gotten rid of your puffy eyes but now you have dark circles, lol. I guess you gotta pick your poison??
Great tips. I also heard face steaming forces your face to sweat, and is a temporary fix for under eye bags. Anyone try the Face Yoga? My friend told me it's also a good exercise to reduce eye puffiness.

ooh a spoon.
I heard of the frozen spoon one.. but luckily I dont have puffy eyes! =D
to reduce puffy eyes temporary, use a frozen spoon
but to get rid off them, i heard old teabags, cucumber or potatoes help.
not sure how true it is but cucumber seems like a safer experiment.
this is a good read- http://www.care2.com/greenliving/treating-dry-red-or-puffy-eyes.html#

ice. if you don't have puffy eyes now, just wait until you get older. :]
That would be an interesting picture for the "describe this picture in one word" feature.
i usually just use a cold washcloth for about 10-15 minutes and that works just fine.
i heard teabags are good for dark circles too...
"caffeine constricts blood vessels" :: some say drink a cup of strong coffee in the morning can reduces puffiness..
