Well, we all knew it was bound to happen one day, and that day is finally here. It seems as though DuWop is unveiling a new product inspired by the glittery vampire juggernaut that is
Twilight.
Here's what DuWop has to say about
Lip Venom V, their lip plumper made in the vain (vein?) of
Twilight:
Be transformed. Let the alchemy transcend.
This special limited edition Lip Venom is a sneak preview of our highly anticipated Twilight Venom, debuting this Fall. Lip Venom V is not your typical DuWop venom. Instead of a gloss, Lip Venom V is a shimmering crimson lip stain suspended in a venom-laced liquid lip conditioner with a bite, and contains argan, avocado, olive oils and vitamin E.
This product should be shaken before use to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds and applied repeatedly until lips are plumped, revitalized and the desired intensity of color has been reached.
Hmmm....Interesting! What would Edward and Bella think? I love normal Lip Venom, so I'll bite my tongue for now. I just wonder if this will bite or rock....time shall tell. I wonder what kind of makeup product DuWop could design for Jacob and his werewolves? Some sort of hair remover, perhaps?
I ordered a few vials of Lip Venom V, so be on the lookout for a giveaway and a review soon!

LMAO.
Is this a joke?Really??
Coming up next from Aquafresh: Twilight Toothpaste! How else do vampires keep their fangs sparkling & fresh between meals?! I love Twilight & all but after the perfume, the barbies, the jewelry & posters, it's getting weird. XD!
Ya know ... I'd be tempted to try this. (Now if only they'd come out w/ a goth makeup line.)
Well, I'm not so thrilled that it has a connection to Twilight.
I wouldn't dish out money for it just because it's associated with that horrible book/movie.
;<
lol
This is just sad...
Psshaaww.
xD
HOLY SHIZ , this is just fuggin sad . twilight has GONE TOO FAR . crap movie . . . . i`m seriously boycotting duwop prodocuts now . why the heck would you make a new lip plumper inspired by such a crappy excuse for a book / movie ?!
LOL.
lol. um, nice.
xo
i don't like Twilight in the slightest, but the product sounds good. sparkly red lip stain is all good in my book :)
Twilight makeup? Really, what's next? Vampire contacts? -.-'
@abcdefgaby@xanga - there are already vampire contacts in my state. they have offical twilight contacts at our eye doctor that you can purchase in black and some crimson brown color. a couple of my friends have already purchased their pairs and its absolutely ridiculous. then again, those same friends are the ones who have robert pattinson underwear too. =/
i know quite a few people who will be jumping for joy to know about this new product coming out and i'm sure they will purchase about five containers each to stock up. as for myself, i'm not the biggest fan of twilight (liked the movie and liked the books but thats about it) and i don't neccesarily see myself purchasing the item unless it looks really pretty and i like the color on me. i do think its ridiculous at how companies are sucking the movie for what it's worth as long as they can but hey, if they can sucker people into purchasing it, why not?
@sunshinesasha@xanga - Are you fucking kidding me? And I thought the shirts / buttons / posters / jewelry / toys / whatever else they've managed to come up with was bad. This is pretty insane. I can't even walk into a Hot Topic without seeing RPattz and the other Twilight kiddos' faces plastered everywhere. Ugh.
Does this contain real venom in it?
omg its my worst nightmare >.
@Shinbi_Belldandy@xanga - It's probably sad that I'd actually buy it, lol.
I kind of wish that the Twilight movie never came out. It makes the whole book seem bad, when it was actually engrossing [at least to me and A LOT of people I knew before the movie came out]. Now most people just bad mouth it.
Just because it's popular does not mean it is bad. The movie was okay, the book was good. Lets not hate too much... people hate too much. Where's the love?
I don't like make up so I wouldn't use this. I like my lips just fine the natural colour and plumpness.
......
I love Twilight, I love red sparkly lip plumper, but I don't love that they're connected :(
oh yes, and brightening serums for vampire pale skin next.
Sounds cool.. :)
serisouly? the movie was not that great and the books were good before it became a fad. It's really annoying to have products be turned into something just because they have a "relation" to twilight.
although if someone gave it to me for free, i guess i would take it.
