YouTube Beauty: A List of the Best Tutorials

Hey everyone! So, other than creating icons at Vanitease and blogging on my personal blogs, I have an ambition to not only be a teacher, but also a makeup artist and stylist. I love playing around with cosmetics and making people look and feel good. To aid me in my ambition, I love watching beauty vids on youtube from the lovely makeup gurus! Below the cut you'll find lots of resources for aiding your makeup addiction!

I started watching videos last year and have been addicted to watching them and picking up tips from the many people who make them. So this is a blog about the people I watch and I hope this helps some of you out with your makeup skills.
panacea81 - lauren luke

Above is one of the many looks she has produced for her youtube viewers. She is by far the most popular of the gurus and the first one to be featured in magazines such as Elle and featured on tv shows in both the UK and the US. She does looks inspired by celebrity styles and music videos, and also looks that are taken from the seasons, like her Valentine's day look. She is a wonderful gal whose success online has led to the creation of her own makeup line. I would highly suggest watching her videos.
michellephan - michelle phan, aka RiceBunny to us xangans

http://www.iqqubeauty.com/int/An art student by day, and makeup guru by night, Michelle Phan is a wonderful source for beauty tips. She's been making videos for a while now and has gained worldwide renown for her beauty and her skills for tutorials. Her makeup looks range from everyday school looks to glam Lady GaGa looks. Her videos are not only about makeup looks, but she also dives deeper into skincare. Beauty is only skin deep, but she strives to make that skin healthy. With her skincare line iQQu (among other products she uses in her videos), she demonstrates how to take care of the skin so that the canvas for a person's makeup is flawless. I also love michelle's "on-the-go" beauty reviews in which she goes to drugstores to review brands such as L'Oreal and Maybelline and the products that the everyday person can acquire.
petrilude - josh

I absolutely adore josh! He is adorable and a fantastic makeup artist. His looks are always unique and fabulous. He does videos all the time ranging from makeup tips (like how to depot MAC shadows, etc.), halloween looks (his "unzipped" look is amazing), and series of videos like his seven deadly sins series or his Disney inspired looks, which are all amazing.Have you seen these videos? Do you have a favorite youtube makeup guru?

I really like xsparkage, makeupbytiffanyd, kandeejohnson, and jjacks48. askmemakeup was the first beauty channel I started watching on youtube, but she doesn't post much anymore. Her stuff is still fantastic though.
i really love most of the gurus that are popular on YouTube, but i also like many that are not so popular. they take a little longer to find, but some are actually really good! i also broadcast myself on YouTube. :)

I personally love panacea81 and MissChievous's youtube channels.
I love PrincessPinkcat - she's very humble and down to earth. I love
how she responds to every comment - not many of them do that. Her
tutorials are easy to understand and she's fun to watch.
I also like gossmakeupartist, petrilude, encore, panacea81 and pursebuzz.
