Beauty sleep is extremely important for your overall health. I’m sure you already knew this! However, there are many things you can do to make your sleep more worth your while and help you feel better in the morning. Read on for 3 of my favorite tips!

1. Don’t forget your lips!

In the winter, lips are so hopelessly chapped and dry. Nighttime is the best time to help them out! Use a rich lip scrub (like this one from LUSH) and after you’ve applied that, make sure to apply an equally-rich balm. Be sure to put as much balm on your lips as you possibly can because you can look as crazy as you want to at night, and it helps chapped lips so much! Try this one from C.O. Bigelow.

2. Grow your lashes longer!

After you’ve washed your face and taken off all your makeup, take a cotton swab and apply a small amount of olive oil to your lashlines before bed. Apply the oil as close to your lashes as possible, but not too close. In the morning, wash your face and normal and in the next few months you should see noticeably longer lashes! Such a simple and easy tip, no reason you shouldn’t do this!

3. Use a deep conditioner to strengthen your locks.

Before bed, apply a mild but highly effective deep conditioner to your hair. What I do is just mix 2 parts olive oil, 1 part coconut oil and a couple drops of argan oil together. I apply it to the lengths of my hair and tie my hair into a tight braid and let it sit overnight while I sleep. I take a shower in the morning and my hair just feels amazing!
