Long gone are the days when smearing Limited Too's Body Glitter Gel all over my face is an acceptable practice, but I still love me a good glitter makeup application. This year, Jason Wu's Spring 2014 runway show featured a beautiful and sophisticated bronze and gold glitter eyeshadow application, and my inner-sparkle-loving-child can't wait to replicate it.
To create this look, you'll need the following items or anything similar:
- Top Shop Glitter Eyes in Sprinkles
- NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Cordura
- Lancome Artliner in Noir
- Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara
Start by pressing a coppery-gold shadow all over your lid, up to the crease. Use a small crease brush to apply a black-brown shadow to the contours and outer corners of your eyes. Blend softly out and up from the outer corners of your eyes. Use a clean blending brush to blend the darker shadow, but don't remove too much definition! This look possesses a sort of 'mod' quality with its defined crease work.
Use your finger to press loose cosmetic-grade glitter all over the coppery-gold portion of your shadow application. Take extreme care to not get the glitter in your eyes!
Line your upper lash line with a thin application of black liquid liner and top off with a subtly defining and lengthening mascara.
Lovelies, would you wear this glamorous glittery eye makeup?
