We all get them. We all hate them. Blemishes make us feel insecure and icky — thankfully, some amazing brands are devoted to creating some pretty kickass spot treatments that fight hard to banish our pesky blemishes and leave us with clear and happy skin! Bye bye, blemishes.
Origin’s Super Spot Remover is a miracle worker. This blemish treatment gel fights breakouts with salicylic acid, and an anti-spot technology helps to reduce the dark spot that comes after the pimple disappears. Everytime that I’ve used this spot remover, any blemish I’ve had is visibly smaller and less inflamed in the morning. Caffeine and red algae are skin-calming ingredients that fight to diminish redness. Definitely give this gel a go!
I first heard about the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment from one of my favorite YouTubers, Tess Christine. This spot treatment kills blemishes. This spot treatment might not be best for someone who has incredibly dry skin because it really drys the pimple out but it also reduces redness. Definitely worth a try!
Lush’s Tea Tree Water is definitely the most gentle and organic of all the spot treatments. I heard about this product from MissGlamorazzi because it’s one of her favorite spot treatments. Tea Tree Water is known for calming redness and fighting bacteria, so this toner will not only help clear up your skin but will prevent further breakouts, too! This toning water is also very non-drying, which is great for people with dry and sensative skin types.
If you’re more into natural skincare solutions, then Burt’s Bees Natural Anti-Blemish Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment is definitely up your ally. It’s a great spot remover that is particulary helpful at getting rid of those super painful big pimples that we all get from time to time. It doesn’t irritate the skin, which is always a plus! This product’s salicylic acid is derived from willow bark extract along with other natural ingredients that help fight breakouts.
I first heard about the famous La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo from the lovely Miss Tanya Burr. At the time, she was suffering from pesky spots all along the sides of her face and her cheeks and was very frustrated. She tried a ton of different things, but this is the one thing that finally cleared up her skin! It contains micronized benzyol peroxide to help reduce the spots and micro-exfoliating LHA to help exfoliate the skin. This may be a little too rough on people with super sensative skin, but it really helped me when I was suffering from constant spots earlier in the year!
