I have not tried Tarte’s gel eyeliners or any gel eyeliners before. I would have to say that in general the higher end eyeliners better suited me than some drugstore liners because they are softer and go on more easily. Plus, the wood part of the pencil (I like pencil types of eyeliners) isn’t so…well, woody, as a #2 pencil so no splinters or slivers of wood.
