REVLON Color Stay makeup with SoftFlex & SPF 6
Claims:
-SoftFlex provides all day comfort
-Oil free and shine control
-Natural, flawless look
-Transfer-Resistant
So I do believe this is the best drug store foundation I have found so far.
I did my research and I bought the product cause their were so many rants about it. It does have SoftFlex I can totally feel comfortable the foundation isn’t to heavy but it’s also not to light and it’s oil free and has shine control, I don’t really think it has shine control maybe because my skin is just really oily but for me that didn’t work, it does give you the BEST I mean the BEST natural and flawless look and its Transfer-Resistant. Out of all makeup from the drugstore this is by far the best I have found for my skin, it might not be for you but the reviews I looked up about it was totally true! It comes in combination/oily skin and also dry skin and it’s about 8 or 9 bucks at Walmart, but you can find at any drugstore.
Has anyone tried this? What’s your favorite foundation?

i actually really love that one. i just can’t find the right shade for me. it’s frustrating to say the least. so for now i’m using clinique superbalanced which is just amazing makeup. and i already know what my shade it so i don’t have to worry about searching around.

I stick to Mary Kay and sometimes Makeup Forever Professional because it’s hard to find my shade or the right amount of coverage from any other foundation.

I like the Physician’s Formula Tinted Moisturizer. It provides a LOT of coverage but doesn’t feel like anything.

physician’s formula mineral wear liquid foundation is by far the best. the actual colorstay foundation is awesome, but it makes me breakout like crazy, so it’s a no- no…the photoready is alright, just bad color selection

i’ve been wanting to try that, did you know it’s vegan?

Sup run-on sentence?
And I still use Dream Matte Mousse..it’s the only foundation I’ve tried that doesn’t make my skin look oily.

I actually found a shade for me at Lorea’l, so I stick with them. I don’t remember what it’s called, but it’s their mineral makeup. I’m pretty impressed with it.

I’m probably one of the 1 in 10,000 who likes Covergirl’s Trublend liquid foundation. I love that it has a pump so you don’t dispense too much product at once, and it gives a nice, medium coverage. Too much coverage makes your face look unnatural and no coverage is just a tinted moisturizer. I stick with Covergirl because it’s one of the only brands that doesn’t break me out; I’m used to them, and I know what works & what doesn’t.

Yep, I’ve tried this foundation. It is definitely good quality for drugstore and has a large color selection. And the name is correct – it definitely stays put. It can be hard to get off and if not removed properly, cause breakouts.

I definatley need to try this one. I dont know why but I really dont buy foundations and just use powder and here in the south everything just melts away anyway. But I’m totally ready to buy some foundation. Really helps even and brighten up your face. Totally going to pick this up soon

I completely agree! I’ve always disliked using liquid foundation because every product I tried left my skin looking flaky. Then, I recently saw alot of youtube videos mentioning this product and giving it good reviews. I stopped by the store the next day and told myself to buy it since it’s decently priced. I found my colour, the lightest of light, and immediately tried it when I went home. It’s amazing! Smooth, matte finish. Perfect coverage. I use the combination skin foundation and it keeps my oily skin under control for most of the day. I love it.

i use this foundation and it actually is the best

yessss this is the exact foundation I knew would be in this post!!!
Ive been using colorstay for about a yr now…..I stumbled upon it when I was at my local walmart with a friend and I had told her my qualms about liquid foundation…I have SUPER oily skin. So oily that anything I put on my face just dissolves after the first couple hours.
she pointed it out and I decided to try it. Been hooked ever since.
amazing stuff only issue is that its SUPER hard to get off. Its almost water resistant and even after a good wash there is a good amount of residue left on my face. So, I have got into the habit of wiping down my face with toner after washing.
once or twice…
and it also cases me to break out. But, overall, one of the best foundations I have ever used.
maybelline mineral power foundation is also really good. coverage is okay…if you have a lot of pimple scars or blemishes you will want to use a concealer after application of powder.

I tend to use the true match collection by cover girl, that seems to really work for me. But like all foundations towards the end of the day I think they all feel heavy no matter what. I’ve been trying to find other foundations that are light when you first put it on and have no oil in it that actually work on my face. Since there are such great reviews on it I might try this one.

@kimmieheart@xanga - Read the ingredients in your department store foundation and compare it to drugstore foundation. You’ll be very surprised.

I’ve been wanting to try this foundation. So far my favorite foundation of all time, happens to BE a drugstore one. I’ve tried Clinique, Lancome, MAC, MUFE…My favorite thus far is Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Makeup. My shades vary between 60 and 70. It’s been compared as a dupe for NARS sheerglow foundation, if you’re looking for a non drugstore comparison. Been using it for a few years now, LOVE it.

@beebizzle@xanga - That’s the one department store foundation that I actually like (I’ve tried maaaaaaaannnny), but I just can’t find the PERFECT shade and as you know, is quite frustrating! Grrr!
