I’m submitting a post in order to ask for some advice. I am currently using the Aveeno Clear Complexion moisturizer. I love it and have been using it for two years. It’s perfect for my combination type skin and has definitely done all the bottle claims it can do. However, my only complaint is that it is a little above my budget, as in it costs $15.00 for a 4oz. bottle. However, the bottle typically lasts me about three months.
I’m asking for advice because I have been looking to replace my bottle of moisturizer, but with the coming school year, I am trying to save some money and find a new moisturizer (Oh, textbooks– why are you so expensive?). I have looked around, read reviews, and done an extensive amount of research.
My answer? St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer! Most of the reviews I have read are positive and since their products are not tested on animals nor contain parabens/phthalates, it really appeals to me.
I haven’t actually tried it and I am wondering if any Lovelyish readers have used this product and what their impression of it is. I would really appreciate any feedback!

I use the Ives products. I have extra sensitive skin and weird skin allergies, but I haven’t had any problems with their moisturizers. I’d say go for it.

I’ve used it for a couple months. Its nice and light however, i don’t like that it makes my face feel sticky. I only use it once in a while now. My moisturizer is now vitamin e oil. it works great

I’ve used this stuff. My advice is to use it a dollop at a time——the heavier of a chunk you use, the heavier it’ll feel on your face. Plus, if you get it, try not to get the big jar, because it’s gonna take longer for you to finish and it may expire.

St. Ives has so many great products. I basically have sworn by them since I was 14, which has been about 12 years now since I started using their stuff. Just remember that a little of this moisturizer goes a long, long way.
