I'm sure everyone knows about the VO5 brand, it's one of the cheapest out there
So that means it can't possibly be good for your hair... can it?
That's what I thought anyway. I've been using really expensive conditioners for a long time and while they deliver amazing results I have to wonder... do I really need all that? I mean do I need my hair that moisturized everyday? The results from a conditioner that high quality usually last at least a week. So why in the world am I using it every day?
But I knew my answer to that question, it's because cheaper conditioners are filled with parabens, sulfates and silicones. None of which my hair tolerates. Then for some reason, while I was at Walmart, I picked up a bottle of the VO5 coconut conditioner and looked at the ingredients. No silicones and no parabens. HALLELUJAH. Plus it smells amazing and is so cheap (less than 5 dollars).
So new hair routine? Yeah, I still keep the expensive stuff around, but I only use it about once a week. VO5 works amazing as an every day conditioner. (I can't speak for their shampoos though). Lesson learned? Never judge a product by its price, always look at the ingredients list.
Do you prefer cheap conditioners over expensive ones? What is your experience with VO5 products?
